When should I place my order?
Custom orders typically have a 3 month turnaround time from the downpayment with the possibility of rush orders depending on the time of year or personal situation.
Can I use my own stones/metal?
Depending on the stone. Unfortunately, we are unable to use your metal.
Engraving?
Currently, I can do some hand engraving. The design would determine if it is possible or not.
Stamping?
I currently offer to stamp letters and numbers. One font is available at the moment.
Custom design fee?
I do ask for a non-refundable payment of $25 to start the design process. This covers the time it takes to discuss your project with you over the phone as well as 10 sketches with quotes.
What's Next?
The first step in placing a custom order is filling out the custom order inquiry form (BELOW), including your preference in metals, stones, size and widths, and your budget for the project. I work with recycled Sterling Silver. Next Katie will take 1-2 weeks to work up a basic concept for the design and you will be contacted with the sketches and quote/s. All custom orders are subject to a custom design fee which is included in the quote. Once we have agreed upon the concept and quote, we ask for a half downpayment to initiate the order. After we receive the downpayment, Katie will put together a design sample for your approval prior to the fabrication of the piece/s. When your piece/s are finished, you will be contacted for the final payment and the item will be ready for shipment or pickup.
